MyGarage Disclaimer

Mileage and location

GPS distances, Bluetooth-triggered trips, OBD readings/calibration and manual entries can be incomplete or inaccurate. Permission changes, signal loss, battery restrictions, adapter compatibility, background limits, app force-stop and offline replay affect results. Compare against the actual odometer. Rounded display values and fractional carry do not certify odometer accuracy. MyGarage is not an official odometer, tax substantiation, emissions, insurance, warranty or lease-compliance authority.

Vehicle safety and diagnostics

Trouble-code monitoring and fuel/engine readings are informational; supported PIDs vary by adapter/vehicle. A cleared code or absent alert is not evidence a vehicle is safe. Consult manufacturer guidance and qualified mechanics, including for recalls. Do not interact with screens, pair adapters, clear codes or change tracking settings while driving. The app is not an emergency response, surveillance or theft-recovery service. Use vehicle tracking only with appropriate authority.

Financial and maintenance estimates

Lease overage, loan balances/payments, ownership costs, values, intervals and reminders are estimates from entered data and supported sources. Your actual contract, lender/lessor statements and manufacturer guidance control. Notifications may be delayed or missed. No promise is made of cost savings, resale value, avoided overage or complete records. Cost-history analysis is debug-only for Build 75; planned features are not current functionality.

AI and third-party information

AI output can be wrong or fabricated; independently verify it. Vehicle lookups, recall/valuation data and external links can be incomplete, stale or unavailable. Nothing in the app replaces professional mechanical, financial, legal, tax or insurance advice.

Beta availability, privacy and liability

Internal/closed-test software can contain defects and lose or duplicate records. Keep independent backups. Local logs, exports and VIN/free-text records may reveal sensitive information; review before sharing. No warranty of uninterrupted operation, perfect anonymity or absolute security is made. Disclaimers and liability limits apply only to the extent permitted by law and do not remove mandatory consumer rights.
